When Fiat began importing the 500 to North America, enthusiasts were thrilled. But most were salivating at the chance to have an Abarth-tuned example. While it was said to be coming, the excitement and anticipation grew exponentially – when it finally arrived, most were absolutely gobsmacked. The sounds the Abarth 500 emitted from its exhaust were unearthly, and inspired bad behavior, exactly what should be expected by any car bearing the Abarth name. The tight suspension and punchy 1.4L turbo-4 was a breath of fresh air, and seemed to never run out of revs.
This 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth shows just over 74,600 miles on the odometer and is finished in black. Fitted with the factory Bose stereo and speakers, it also boasts cruise control and power windows. The car has been modified with a Madness GOPedal throttle timing amplifier, a new shifter boot, a new driver door handle, and a new turbo was installed in September 2024.
Rounding out the sale of this Fiat Abarth is the old turbo, a factory jack, a tire air compressor, and four new tire pressure monitors. Capable of 30+ MPG in the city, most everyone who’s driven a modern Fiat Abarth 500 agrees, it’s hard to find a more fun car.
