Now in their 40th year, the Oregon High Desert Swap Meet was born out of a local request. At the time, several car clubs in Central Oregon organized their own swap meets with small venues – averaging 35 to 50 spaces. Someone ran an ad in the Bulletin asking if there would be interest in one big swap meet instead of several small ones. Out of this ad – the Oregon High Desert Swamp Meet was born. The Swap Meet continues to grow through the years. Today, there’s 600 spaces and all makes, models, and years of vehicles are welcomed. At this one-day show, you’ll see cars, trucks, motorcycles, automotive collectibles, and antiques.

The National Corvette Caravan festivities at the National Corvette Museum are August 28-31, 2024. Each individual caravan has varying departure dates and activities. The overall chair, Frank Sancineto says, ““I want to welcome all of you Corvette enthusiasts to the upcoming 2024 Caravan! My name is Frank Sancineto and I’m your National Chair for the 30th Anniversary Caravan. We do hope you participate in the momentous occasion. There are caravans from all 50 states and Europe that will be joining us for the 2024 Caravan.”
